Your focus stays yours.

DeepMinutes works without an account. Your sessions, tasks and settings stay on your device unless you export them yourself. We cannot see what you focus on.

This policy explains how DeepMinutes: Pomodoro Focus (“DeepMinutes”), published by To Infy, handles information. It applies to the iPhone and Android apps and to this website.

What DeepMinutes stores on your device

Finished sessions (when they started and ended, how long you focused, which rhythm and space you used, and whether Focus Shield was on), the task you type for a session, your rhythms, daily goal, streak minimum, Focus Space and sound choices, and your app settings. This is kept in DeepMinutes’s private storage on your phone. There is no account, no server and no cloud copy of it.

The task you type

A focus task is yours alone. It is stored with the session on your device, shown on the Lock Screen and the home screen widget if you have those enabled, and is never included in analytics or crash reports. An allowlist in the app decides what may be sent with an event, and a test enforces it.

Focus Shield and Screen Time

On iPhone, Focus Shield uses Apple’s Screen Time APIs (Family Controls, Managed Settings and Device Activity). The apps and categories you choose are selected through Apple’s own picker, and the selection stays on the device inside Apple’s framework. DeepMinutes is told only how many items you picked — never which apps they are. On Android, where no equivalent permission exists within Play policy, DeepMinutes uses session reminders instead and says so on the screen.

Crash reports and analytics

DeepMinutes has no advertising and never tracks you across apps or websites. We do not sell personal information.

• Crash reports (Sentry) are on by default so we can find and fix problems. They contain technical details only — app version, device model, operating system and the error — and console breadcrumbs are stripped before sending, because a log line could otherwise carry your task text.
• Usage analytics (PostHog) record anonymous counts such as a session starting or finishing, the rhythm used and whether the shield was on. They never carry your task, and no session recordings or personal profiles are created.

Purchases

DeepMinutes is free and has no in-app purchases, so it handles no payment or purchase information and does not contact any purchase service. If paid features are offered in the future, this section will be updated before they are, to explain how purchases are processed.

Notifications

Notifications are scheduled locally by your phone, for the end of a session and for the daily reminder if you switch it on. Nothing is sent from a server, and permission is asked for at the first session rather than at launch.

Backups you create

Export writes a JSON or CSV file and hands it to the share sheet. Where that file goes is your choice, and whatever you send it to — a cloud drive, a message, another app — is covered by that service’s privacy policy, not this one. Restoring a backup reads a file you pick and replaces the history on the device.

This website

The site is static and sets no tracking cookies. If you use the support form, the name, email address and message you enter are sent to our support inbox and to a private spreadsheet used to track requests. They are used to answer you and for nothing else.

Children

DeepMinutes is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.

Your rights

Because your focus data never reaches us, you control it directly: export a backup whenever you like, restore one to replace what is on the device, or remove the app to remove everything it stored. For support correspondence, write to support@toinfy.com and we will delete it on request.

Changes

If this policy changes, the effective date above changes with it, and material changes will be noted in the app’s release notes.
